Tomorrow promises to be a very special Sunday in the life of Christ's Church. Our 9AM service will go off as usual at CCA. Our 11AM service, however, is going on the road! We will be combining our worship service with the congregation at Grace Baptist Church in Merrimack tomorrow morning. As most of you know, we have been lending preaching and musicians to Grace's Sunday services over the last several months. Tomorrow will provide us all with an opportunity to see the Body of Christ come together, and the love of Christ clearly demonstrated - all in a way that few congregations are doing. We're going to make some history together tomorrow.
Jesse and members of the Christ's Church worship band will be leading us in song, both at CCA at 9AM and over at Grace at 11AM. On the list are some great new arrangements of hymns, some Crowder, some Redman, and more.
I will be bringing the message at both services. If you want an advance look, give Acts 20:1-16 a read.
This should be an exciting occasion for long time Christ's Church families. Those folks who were at CCA ten years ago will remember the concurrent worship service that was shared with Northland, a congregation in Central Florida, in 1998. At that time the connection with Northland's congregation brought a great deal of comfort and encouragement to CCA in a really difficult season. Christ's Church folks, you might want to give 2 Corinthians 1 a read tonight. This weekend provides us a chance to see that encouragement run full circle.
Whether at Christ's Church at 9AM or over at Grace Baptist at 11AM, I look forward to gathering to worship, and indeed, making some history with you tomorrow. Grace Baptist Church is located at 67 Bedford Road in Merrimack, NH. Run a quick mapquest to get directions.
