Jesse and members of the World Famous Christ's Church Worship Band have a great set of songs prepared to lead us into the Lord's presence. There are songs from Matt Redman, the Newsboys, and a couple of great standards on the list. Come, prepared to lend your voices to the chorus in praise and adoration.
As for our study together of the Scriptures - I am hoping to continue our consideration of our dual citizenship; our participation as citizens of this great nation of ours while also recognizing that our true citizenship rests in the Kingdom of God. With election politics all around us, I hope to look at some of the issues we face from a Biblical perspective.
Don't forget the great opportunity to gather tonight (Saturday evening) at 7:30 for an Episcopal Service with Richard Griffin at Christ's Church, utilizing the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Then, of course, our regular CCA services are tomorrow (Sunday) morning at 9am and 11am. I look forward to gathering with you to worship our Lord!
